The M65T is the largest safe in the Browning Medallion Series line – Browning considers it a Tall Extra Wide safe. The cavernous interior securely houses up to 65 long guns and still has room for jewelry, pistols, documents and other important items. The extra tall dimension of the M65T (66 of internal vertical space) gives you enough interior space to store extra long firearms, even a .50 caliber long range rifle. Also, like well designed furniture, Browning designed the M65T to be wider like a bureau instead of the more common boxy refrigerator like dimensions in other safes (26 exterior depth), allowing you to place the safe in any number of locations in your house without blocking off interior space. And given the elegant and clean styling of the Medallion safes, this Browning 65 gun safe will add style to any room instead of being a big eyesore taking up space in a corner.

External Hinges Matter– External hinges on the Browning 65 gun safe offer several advantages over the internal hinges found on other safes, most notably in fire protection. To accommodate an internal hinge, fire protection material must be removed where the hinges attach. In a fire, these two unprotected areas allow the internal temperature of a safe to rise faster, to a significantly higher temperature, than a Browning ProSteel safe with external hinges with no gaps in the fire protection.
